A.J., Ashley Jewell, husband to be of Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta died as the result of being involved in a brawl outside a strip club in Atlanta.Atlanta police spokesman, Keith Meadows said, "He was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head."
A.J. was taken to a hospital where doctors were unable to save him.
Kandi's spokeswoman, Lisa Nelson, said Kandi was "stunned and speechless" when she was told that A.J. was dead.
Police have a person of interest they have questioned and are trying to figure out what the strip club brawl was all about.
Kandi's mom objected to Kandi's engagement to A.J. due to him having 4 Baby Mamas, as in he had fathered kids by 4 different women.
