Last night I managed to make it through Saturday Night Live for the first time in a long time. John McCain is a better comedian than a Presidential candidate in my biased opinion.
The show opened with McCain and Sarah Palin, I mean Tina Fey, hosting a segment of QVC, doing some campaigning while hawking McCain-themed items, like Feingold watches and pork knives.
Cindy McCain was there but did no QVC selling, saying nothing, smiling prettily.
Later in the show McCain showed up again, to scattered booing, in the Weekend Update segment. During Weekend Update McCain joked about his advanced age, telling Seth Meyers he was going "Reverse Maverick", whatever that means and that he was going to be either "Sad" or "Mad Grandpa" to try and win the election.
McCain stayed all the way to the end, showing up during the final curtain call.
