It's been rumored for months, starting about the time Ellen DeGeneres left American Idol, that Kara DioGuardi was also being leaving the show.That leaves on 2 of the 5 in the picture remaining on American Idol, those 2 being Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson.
I did not like Kara DioGuardi from the start. I did not see what it added to add a 4th judge. So many of DioGuardi's comments were insipid, along with a lot of misspeaking, like confusing Heinz 57 catsup with a former famous New York hotspot, renaming it Studio 57.
The rumored replacements are Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. I think American Idol's days are numbered.
