Kayne West Rude To Taylor Swift At MTV Video Music Awards Show

I did not watch the MTV VMA's. I do not watch MTV videos because I don't believe there are videos on MTV anymore. This morning when I checked blogging and search trends it was quickly apparent that Kayne West did something to Taylor Swift at the VMA show.

I figured there would be a YouTube video of whatever happened. But instead, on YouTube, if you search "Kayne West Taylor Swift" you will see a long list of videos tricking you to think you are going to watch whatever happened last night, but instead you see videos of people embarrassing themselves verbalizing their opinion about the incident.

As you'll see if you watch the above video, direct from MTV, Taylor Swift won a Best Video of some type award. She was in the middle of her thank you speech when Kanye West grabbed the microphone from her and did a rant about Beyonce having one of the best videos of all time.

Taylor Swift looked a bit stunned. Beyonce looked perplexed and sort of embarrassed. There was booing at West, then chatter from the audience, erupting into cheers for Taylor Swift.

Later in the show Beyonce won a VMA for the Best Video in the History of the World, or something like that. Beyonce graciously invited Taylor Swift back to the stage to finish her thank you speech.

That Beyonce is one classy dame.

I think it all may have been a planned set up, like when that Sasha Baron Cohen Borat guy landed his bare butt on Eminem's face, with the rapper storming off and yet one other MTV Award Show. Later it was revealed this was all staged.

But that Eminem with a butt on his face moment had a slight humor element to it, and this Kayne West guy seems like he might have a screw or two loose, so it probably was a real deal moment of award show weirdness. Kayne West seems to be being pretty much reviled on the Internet today as a World Class Douchebag.

Looking at incoming info on the Internet it seems that Kayne West apologized to Taylor Swift, then withdrew the apology. If that is true it would seem he is cementing his douchebag status. Wait, a second, now I am reading that apparently Kayne West has withdrawn his withdrawn apology and has apologized again. I wonder if this latest apology will hold?
