Well. This week's The Bachelor did not quite go the way rumors said it would. As in Ally did not get mad and leave due to Jake not dumping Vienna.
That Jake continues to keep Vienna, that turned out to be true. Ally seemed to handle this better than last week, at least according to what we saw.
Jake and his 5 girls were in San Francisco for their heavy duty dating. It's down to only 5 so I remember their names. Corrie, the Virgin, Ally the Brat, Gia the Joisey girl, Tenley the Divorcee and Vienna the Pinup Girl.
Jake seems to grow duller and duller the more we see of him. I hate hearing things like "I think you're amazing." That's dull.
When Corrie confessed to Jake her interpersonal experience status, I almost expected him to confess to the same. That would have made their time in the Fantasy Suite amusing. But that won't be happening, because Corrie was the one of the five to get sent home.
Speaking of home, that's where they go next week, an event so important and ominous Jake refers to it like this, "Hometown is a big deal." He must be a long time viewer. I can't see myself saying anything but, "The hometown dates are a big deal."
The previews of "Hometown" looks like some of these girls have scary families, with Gia's Jersey accented mom, sounding like a mafia queen, being the scariest. Vienna's dad seemed a bit thuggish. He'll probably scare Jake.
Now, if you saw the previews you saw again the incident where Jake is very upset at the latest horrible turn of events. And in the first time in the history of the sainted Rose Ceremony, there is no Rose Ceremony. And the rumor is that this is because there was no need, because Ally did not return to Los Angeles after the Hometown Date. I assume due to the Vienna issue. Or, maybe Ally's family was too much for Jake to bear.
I'll be watching.
