Friday Night TV With Frosty the Snowman & Dollhouse

In decades past Friday and Saturday nights were where you'd find hit shows like Dallas, Mary Tyler Moore, All in the Family, Carol Burnett, Bob Newhart. But in modern times Friday and Saturday night are primetime TV doldrums.

Having said that, tonight you might a few things to watch....

Frosty the Snowman
8/7c CBS
This Christmas special has been airing for 40 years, first appearing way back when man first walked the moon, in 1969. Jimmy Durante narrates the story of Frosty. Frosty the Snowman is a half hour long, followed by Frosty Returns narrated by Jonathan Winters.

Dollhouse
8/7c Fox
Dollhouse has me watching a Friday night show again. Or recording it. Joss Whedon's identity theft story is a real tightly wound roller coaster ride with shocking little twists.
