Last week ABC's The Bachelor's most notorious bachelor, Jason Mesnick stopped being a bachelor when he finally got married to choice #2, Molly Malaney.
Tonight, anyone who has the stomach for such a thing, can watch Jason & Molly get married. Well, more accurately, watch the recording of their wedding that took place previously to you watching it.
I wonder how much Jason & Molly got paid for the rights to televise this important event?
Meanwhile, yesterday I was stuck in a slow line at Wal-Mart.
I used being stuck in a slow line at Wal-Mart as an opportunity to read US Weekly.
The latest bachelor, Jake Pavelka and his controversial pick, Vienna Girardi, are on the cover of this week's US Weekly.
Previously US Weekly's told us about all sorts of scandalous Vienna behavior.
Things like draining her husband's bank account while he was in Iraq, so that she could pay for new boobs, being caught flagrante dilecto with her husband's best friend, while her husband was in Iraq, posing nude, all sorts of bad girl X-rated stuff.
This week US Weekly tell us how Vienna tricked Jake.
Jake & Vienna are also on the cover of People magazine this week. Both deny all those horrible things that were being said about Vienna, in the tabloids and magazines, like US Weekly, as total fabrications.
Apparently Vienna has yet to set foot in Jake's home state of Texas. It seems the couple is shacked up somewhere in the Hollywood zone, as Jake learns to dance for Dancing with the Stars.
US Weekly asked Vienna if she won't be totally super jealous over Jake spending so many hours practicing dancing with a beautiful dancer. Vienna indicated she was excited to watch Jake dance and had no problem with it.
Vienna waxed poetic about what a wonderful man Jake is. The best example of this wonderfulness that I remember was Vienna saying that Jake gets out of bed, every morning, to turn on the shower to get the water warm for Vienna. How horribly romantic.
What I actually thought was what sort of dump are they shacked up in that you have to run the shower for awhile to get the water hot?
I read somewhere that Jake's place in the Dallas area is a low rent dump and that he makes less than $30K a year when he does manage to find the time to fly a plane. Who knows if this is true or not. You read a lot of questionable things on the Internet.
Someday, if Jake's acting and dancing career doesn't pan out, he and Vienna may make it back to Dallas to shack up in his dump. Likely eagerly awaiting when they get their turn to have their wedding shown on TV. With substantial compensation.
