Jessica Simpson Guest Judge on Project Runway Finale

I like Jessica Simpson. I find her amusingly ditzy. But I did not know she was a fashion icon. But she must be. Because Jessica Simpson is the Guest Judge on the finale of Season 8 of Project Runway on Lifetime.

The Project Runway finale was filmed this week during New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.

Jessica Simpson joined Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia judging 10 designer's collections as they came down the runway.

Yes, 10. Seven designers who got cut came back as decoys, so as not to reveal who the final 3 are.

Now, Jessica Simpson as a judge? I remember on her show with her ex on MTV, Jessica and her mom went shopping for clothes in New York City. Every other word out of Jessica's mouth was "cute."

It seems like it'd goof up the proceedings to have Jessica Simpson being one of 4 inputting her opinion as to who's designs are best.

But, it should be entertaining. I'm betting Jessica will use the "cute" word at least once.

Is Jessica Simpson Replacing Simon Cowell on American Idol?

I thought it a ridiculous concept when I read this morning that Jessica Simpson is rumored to be the replacement for Simon Cowell on American Idol.

I like Jessica Simpson. She can be funny. Often not on purpose.

But, if American Idol has not already Jumped the Shark. And I think it has. Adding Jessica Simpson will surely be the final Jump of the Shark for this particular show.

Jessica Simpson would be like the anti-Simon Cowell. Where he was mean, snippy and, well, brutally honest, Jessica Simpson is just a sweet-natured nice Texas girl.

So, you'd have Jessica sitting next to the ever more annoying Kara DioGuardi, sitting next to the ever less amusing, borderline tiresome Ellen DeGeneres, sitting next to the only original left, Randy Jackson.

I just can't picture it. But, I guess I'd want to tune in, just to watch the absurdity of it.

Jessica Simpson Craves Intellectual Stimulation

I was shocked today to learn that Jessica Simpson is tired of dating jocks and musicians. She wants a brainiac intellectual type now. She's been married to Nick Lachey. Linked with Tony Romo and John Mayer and now is looking for a Steve Wozniak?

Jessica says she has trouble finding suitable company because she craves intellectual stimulation. She told a reporter, "I don't want to get bored. I can bore out pretty easily, so I love intellectual men, people that will always keep me intrigued."

I've met Tony Romo. He seemed like a really bright guy to me. Absolutely did not seem like a dumb jock. I am fairly certain Tony knows that Chicken of the Sea is tuna and buffalo wings are made from chicken, not buffalo.
